Junior Boys Technical Director

White City FC Beograd are pleased to announce the appointment of Nikola Markovic as our Junior Boys Technical Director effective immediately. Nikola brings a wealth of football experience and qualifications to the role and will spend the remainder of this season getting to know all the stakeholders and develop plans for 2022 and beyond.
Nikola joined our Senior Team 6 weeks ago and has been a valuable contributor playing in defence but also scoring 3 goals.

FOOTBALL BIOGRAPHY NIKOLA MARKOVIC
• From age of 6 to 17 Nikola played for 2 major clubs at a top junior level in Serbia playing regularly against powerhouse clubs such as Red Star Belgrade, Partizan Belgrade and Vojvodina. These 3 clubs have world leading junior academies which Nikola has had significant exposure to
• Nikola has played professionally for 20 years across multiple countries and continents including Serbia, Montenegro, Finland, Sweden, Poland, Morocco, Spain and Australia. In 2009 Nikola won a Championship in Finland with his club at the time
• Nikola has played over 700 games and scored over 50 goals
• Nikola is a UEFA Licenced coach with his expertise being developing Football Academies with a strong focus on strength and conditioning with great success in past roles including the Australian College of Sport
• On a personal level Nikola is a computer expert with a Microsoft Diploma. His major passion is chess and is very well known in the chess community as a “chessmaster” winning the last rapid chess tournament in SA
