Our coaching news continues tonight as we are pleased to announce Goal Keeper Coach, Chris Higgins, for the 2019 season!
Chris, who is the current Football Federation SA State Futsal Coach and Football Federation SA State Futsal Goal Keeper Coach, has worked with Croydon Kings, MetroStars and Para Hills Knights as well as previously played as a Senior Keeper for Para Hills and Salisbury United.
Chris worked with the club on a part-time basis in 2018 and is looking forward to the 2019 season ahead.
"I'm very happy to come on board full time this year after working with the keepers once a week last year and really enjoying it," he said.
"The club has some good plans, good people and seems very progressive. I have a lot of time and respect for Michael Keens and also Stevie Kitchen whom I played state team football with.
"We have an excellent Senior Keeper in Sammy Lennon and some talented young goalkeepers across our 3 Senior teams and I hope to provide them with an environment in which they can continue to improve and flourish."
